Megatron Transforms
Calvin Johnson, the Number 2 overall pick in 2007, has changed the NFL game and Wide Receiver position. At 6’5” 235 he is a Defensive Backs nightmare. Johnson is a Bigger, Better version of Micheal Irvin who is a Cowboys Hall Of Fame Receiver. Irvin was a three time Superbowl Champion and a National Champion at Miami University in 1987. Johnson, like Irvin, can make plays happen out on the field. Johnson has been the Lions Whole Offense, since 2007 they have built their offense around him. Pairing Johnson with Matthew Stafford was a match in heaven. They have a chance to be the next Rice and Montana or the next Manning to Harrison. Calvin has had four 1000 yard seasons out of his first six and just broke Jerry Rice’s Single season record for receiving yards with 1,964 yards which was 36 yards away from his true goal 2,000. 2,000 yards for a Wide Receiver is crazy sick, those are Video Game stats! Randy Moss, T.O., Jerry Rice, Chris Carter etc…, none of these great NFL receivers could ever reach 2000 yards in a single season. Johnson had already taken the Lions to the playoffs in 2011 for the first time in over a decade. In addition he was six receptions away from breaking the reception record which is 127 and is held by Marvin Harrison. Also Calvin Johnson has broke the urban legend of the Madden Curse by playing a full season this year. To conclude this post, the freakish things that Johnson does are the things receivers dream about. Calvin Johnson has been blessed with the skills to dominate the NFL for the next ten years. Like if you feel this is true
