Lil Wayne “Sorry 4 The Wait” Mixtape Download & Stream
Lil Wayne is back with his long-awaited “Sorry 4 The Wait” mixtape which contains features from Gudda Gudda, Lil B, Thugga, Lil Flo, Raw Dizzy and more. There are 12 songs on the tape that are all remixes of other artists’ songs, except for the “Inkredible” record that was produced by STREETRUNNER and Sarom.
Sorry 4 the Wait is a mixtape by rapper Lil Wayne, named “Sorry 4 the Wait” as an attempt to apologize for the continued delay of his ninth album Tha Carter IV. Wayne said the mixtape would have about 10 songs and be similar to No Ceilings, with him using other artists’ tracks and making a cover track. It was released for digital download on July 13, 2011. Around mid-September 2012, there was a spike in downloads for the mixtape on Datpiff, bringing the mixtape from 6th most downloaded to 2nd, right after Dreamchasers 2 by Meek Mill.
Cortez Bryant delayed Tha Carter IV back until August 29, hence worrying Wayne about his fans’ patience. The Mixtape was worked on secretly until Young Money president Mack Maine tweeted ”BREAKING NEWS!!! Lil Wayne mixtape “SORRY 4 THE WAIT” coming soon!!!!! #C4boom“. Rappers Lil B and Gudda Gudda were featured on the mixtape. “Tunechi’s Back” was the first track released off the mixtape on July 8. It samples “Tupac Back” by Meek Mill featuring Rick Ross. A Deluxe version was released on July 13th, and the official mixtape, containing a total of 12 tracks was released later the same day.
